Moments of clarity

Fossbrenna Creations. It has been a long time since I started this thing. My main “goal”, or vision, has remained the same all along, even though I have articulated these ideas in different ways throughout the years. “Fossbrenna Creations is no longer bound to any particular genre – atmosphere, feeling and essence is hereby the only key aspects” it says in the “About” section. However vague, this is the core of it, and I think it will remain so in the future as well.

It’s like nature. Always different, always the same.

One Tail, One Head at Hole in The Sky Metal Festival 2011

One Tail, One Head will perform live at the very last Hole in The Sky Metal Festival this coming August. This event will be one for the books, no doubt. Hole in The Sky are widely known and respected for their excellent booking, and this years festival, the very grand finale of its existence, will be no exception.

One Tail, One Head just unleashed two new 7″ EPs through Terratur Possessions!

Both “Tandava” and “One Tail, One Head” contain songs released earlier in demo versions on our demotapes. However, these are the final versions which we feel communicates the true power of the songs. Listeners who prefers the uglier rehearsal-ish sound should still be able to listen to the demos – no need to complain. Re-recorded in Brygga Studios and partly re-arranged. This time we offer a clear vision of our Nidrosian madness.

Min Kniv on MCD/MLP

Terratur Possessions has just released Min Knivs demo “Av Aske” on MCD and MLP. Remastered by Kark of the mighty Dødsengel and with new, more noble layout and design. It’s almost like a brand new release! The original demotape was as most of you know released and spread by Fossbrenna Creations some years back. Now, support Terratur Possessions! Don’t forget that he is also one the main distributors for the Klage/Vemod split, so grab one before it’s too late (they are going fast, according to our reports).

It’s finally out, after endless delays. Planned since 2004, this has been a tough one, for various (and not very interesting) reasons. However, we are very pleased with the final result. A glorious homage to winter.

Nidrosian Black Mass

Today, Nidrosian Black Mass III kicks off, and three Fossbrenna related bands will perform there. Both One Tail, One Head and Min Kniv will play friday, and Unbeing will end the whole thing as an outro act saturday.  This will probably be something to remember. See (some of) you there.
